Lewis Electrical Services (LES Powys Ltd) is an electrical and renewable energy contractor based in Newtown, Powys. We have been working as electricians for over 30 years, and carry out domestic and commercial electrical work alongside MCS-certified solar PV and OZEV-registered EV charger installations.
Most of our work is across Powys and Mid Wales, including Welshpool, Llanidloes, Machynlleth and Montgomery. We also take on larger domestic and commercial projects throughout Wales and England.
Our qualifications
Our electricians hold ECS and City & Guilds electrical qualifications, and the business is a NICEIC approved contractor, a NAPIT registered installer and a TrustMark registered business. Every job — from a socket replacement to a complex commercial rewire — is installed to BS 7671, the IET Wiring Regulations, and tested and certified on completion.
Solar and EV certification
We are MCS Certified for solar PV, which means our installations meet recognised standards and that you can access the Smart Export Guarantee and any other available incentives.
